What are Pteridospermales?

Ø  Pteridospermales are a group of Fossil Gymnosperms.

Ø  They are also called as Cycadofilicales (Chamberlain used the term).

Ø  As the name suggests, they are the ‘Seed Ferns’.

Ø  They are Gymnosperms with ‘Fern-like’ leaves which produce ‘Seeds’.
